Architectural Visualization2023
Christoph 9
Munich’s Lehel district is characterized by old buildings with ornate and listed facades. If you want to develop a new building with luxury apartments here, you have to artfully bridge the gap between old and new. The architectural firm Olufemimoser developed several concepts for the façade design of the new building at Christophstrasse 9: on the one hand, some elaborate variants with loosely laid ceramic and sandstone tiles in different color and material gradations that become more airy in their brightness and laying form towards the top. And on the other hand, a more classic version with concave sandstone and exposed concrete bands. During the 3D visualization accompanying the design, we tried out various material concepts and carried out colour studies in close consultation with the client and the architects. This once again demonstrated the advantage of efficient visualization processes: Ideas and designs could be coordinated with all stakeholders virtually on a daily basis. This leads to quick decisions and better results. Glass and exposed concrete dominate the rear of the building and open up the rooms to the sheltered courtyard.
When visualizing the interior spaces, our interior designers were able to support the architects with their extensive expertise and thus achieve a high-quality presentation. In particular, the spacious penthouses with a gallery floor and the combination of tombac, exposed concrete and wood demonstrate the special quality of the project.
In total, we developed a comprehensive package of twelve architectural visualizations of the facades and interiors, as well as supplementary mood images for the sale of the building.
